	You have probably noticed that vitamin D has been getting a lot of press lately in the media and health journals. It is well known and established that vitamin D is necessary for supporting strong bones and teeth. It is also established that vitamin D is necessary for good absorption of certain minerals. Our best source of vitamin D has always been sunshine; however, the use of sunscreen can limit the amount of vitamin D actually absorbed from the sun. Cloudy, rainy climates also add limitations.
